Today’s marsh cleanup at Plumb Beach for #worldwetlandsday was nothing short of invigorating.
62 bags of trash, hundreds of pounds of debris, one solid group of people. 🤙🏼 Thank you to the hosts @jbrpc @npcapics for an epic day.
We strapped on our boots and gloves for a marsh clean up at Plumb Beach in Brooklyn.
Volunteers helped remove large marine debris and other trash from the wetland and surrounding beach, helping to clean and protect this valuable resource.”
