Episode 24 is out! Meet Faye, aka @apres_surf_co Faye is a super talented writer and also happens to be a director in one of the most influential women's magazines on the planet (dream job alert 🚨) I can’t tell you which one it is, but believe me, it’s huge. But Faye also has a passion for the ocean, a passion for surfing and a passion for sharing peoples’ stories. You could say we have this in common 😉 .

In this episode, I have a delightful conversation with Faye. She introduces us to her side-hustle, Après Surf. Après Surf is a Blog that celebrates female surfing, the ocean, the awesome brands that are popping up, and raising awareness into keeping our oceans clean. It’s a beautiful outlet with a lot of things going on (and to come). You must check out what she’s up to @apres_surf_co.

On the career side, I was curious to find out if working in the New York mega magazine world is just like in The Devil Wears Prada and Faye is just a sweetie to share her thoughts on this glamorous position. We also talk about what triggered Faye to start a blog on Instagram of all places. She shares her findings from her VIP access to an Instagram seminar.

I was also curious to pick Faye’s brain about what the future of print magazines is looking like. If you are struggling to create real print magazines in the surfing niche (in the digital age), Faye’s experience will make you feel so much better!

Finally, Faye and I switch seats and I ask Faye the Apres Surf #captioninterview questions.

It was genuinely a lovely moment to spend with Faye. I hope you enjoy this conversation. You can find this episode in the link in bio ☝️and on all the Podcasting apps, such as Apple Podcasts, Deezer, Spotify, Stitcher...

Until next episode, take care, have fun and enjoy the waves!
Ciao
